Sterlingwear of Boston Offers Apparel Companies American-Made Option

While many of you know that Sterlingwear of Boston has been the sole supplier to the official government-issued Navy peacoat since 1968, did you know that we also manufacture outerwear for leading companies throughout the world?

Our ability to handle large volumes of work, meet critical production deadline schedules, and produce superior quality products has allowed us to provide private label manufacturing for leading companies throughout the world.

The Made in America label carries much weight in the international market. One of our first contract services accounts was with a company in Japan that needed coats made that would offer the styling, and most importantly the fit, for their customers.

As more American-based apparel brands are turning to have their garments manufactured domestically, we have been fortunate work with Steven Alan, J. Peterman, Woolrich and Survivalon among others, who have put their own variations and styling to the traditional peacoat.

Sterlingwear of Boston continues to expand its line of services and capabilities and will be exhibiting at the International Apparel and Sourcing Show in New York City’s Javits Center, July 24-26, 2012.  The show is New York’s apparel sourcing event focused on the production supply chain for contract manufacturing, private label, and ODM – original design manufacturing.

If you are attending the show, please stop by and see us! And please stay tuned on our blog as we share more information on our contract services and production capabilities.
